In IE 7, When I close one open window, all open windows close. Why?

there is a problem with the program. you need to reinstall internet explorer. if you have a ligitimate copy of windows microsoft.com will allow you to download internet explorer. also. firefox.com is an alternitive to internet explorer. many people use firefox rather than internet explorer. you should too

I've been told its a problem with IE 7 and there is a patch coming to fix it. I'd love to know more about the problem, too. With mine (and maybe yours), it does not happen every time. I am told it is because of pages using older programming language.

IE 7 has the X in the rop right corner that will close your internet session, however each tab you open also has an X on the right of each tab that closes each tab seperately.
Haha! You're using Internet Explorer, live with it.
Who knows? Internet explorer 7 is a minefield of problems. Many people have written in telling about different problems and asking about switching back to IE6. I switched back due to multiple problems and am much happier. You can just go to the control panel, add/delete, then remove I E 7 if you wish.
IE7 works on a tab system, (closing individual tabs) like Opera, you have to set your internet options to the correct setting. I was having the same problem until I realized that, or just revert back to IE6. Personally, after i figured out how IE7 works i am happy with the tab system, because it works like Opera that way.

Good Luck
